My research interests center around collaborative learning behaviors in informal environments. I care about how individuals learn informally, seek and share information online, naturally form teams and communities, and engage in collaborative learning activities such as crowdsourcing competitions and peer review processes; correspondingly, I am interested in how technology and design might facilitate and hinder these processes.
